CATONSVILLE, Md. - Leroy Ambush scored a touchdown and recovered a fumble in the final minutes of the game Friday night to lead Thomas Johnson to a 31-20 win over third-seeded Woodlawn in the Class 3A quarterfinals at Catonsville Community College.

It was the eighth straight win for the sixth-seeded Patriots (9-2). Woodlawn ends its season 8-3.

TJ led 23-6 at halftime, but touchdown runs by Omahi Michell and Tavon Mason pulled Woodlawn to within 23-20 midway through the fourth quarter.

The Warriors jumped in front on a 1-yard run by Antwan Simmons in the first quarter before TJ's Randell Jones took over.
