SCOTLAND, Pa - With the arrest of three Chambersburg men, Tri-State area police agencies were able to solve their third bank robbery in a week, police said.
A total of eight Tri-State area banks have been robbed since September.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation have arrested three men in connection with the robbery of Chambersburg Trust's Scotland branch.
According to police, they are:
- Darrell Briddell, 26, formerly of Philadelphia, who had been living at 433 E. King St.
- Eric L. Kilgore, 25, 23 N. Fourth St.
- Frankie Dean Thomas, 36, 411 Cedar St.
All three are charged with armed robbery, the FBI said.
On the morning of Nov. 8, two men allegedly pointed a pump-action shotgun at bank tellers and demanded money, police said.
