Lab tests awaited in shotgun death

FANNETTSBURG, Pa. - Police said Tuesday they are waiting for lab tests to determine how a Fannettsburg woman died of a shotgun wound to the head.

Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Roger Hall confirmed that an autopsy on Audrey Lucille Parks, 62, was conducted Monday. He would not release the results.

Franklin County Coroner Kenneth L. Peiffer Jr. pronounced her dead 10:23 a.m. Sunday at her 17955 Fannettsburg Road home.

Police said they are investigating the death as suspicious.

Parks was a retired computer programmer at Letterkenny Army Depot.
